Walls and Bridges: Season 1. Coming Jan 27!

UnionDocs is very proud to be taking part in this upcoming transatlantic series, Walls and Bridges.

The  wonderful, smart people at Villa Gillet of Lyon, France, who are responsible for  this ambitious initiative, began the collaboration with such a warm and open approach. The resulting events and opportunities are sure to creatively stretch institutional and intellectual boundaries (not to mention the crossing of national borders) for all the impressive partners they have assembled. Did I mention we are super happy to be included on that list? We are making new friends! Really, the healthy diversity the curators have pursued is a remarkable thing. UnionDocs will attempt to answer the call to action in our own specific style and will co-create one event with Villa Gillet for each of the three seasons, all aspiring to be pleasant departures from the expected. For our first,we are facilitating the brilliant young philosopher, Gregoire Chamayou in developing a way of presenting ideas from his recent book that he has never before tried, using documentary fragments and short B-movies clips, he will be joined in discussion with by Katie Salen and Jamie Hook.

A broad and memorable exchange is on it’s way. Read the overview of the whole series below.
