Abandoned Brooklyn Filled to Capacity!

UnionDocs_Nathan.jpg

Our renovations here at UnionDocs were finished just in time for the Abandoned Brooklyn exhibit, featuring the work of documentary photographer and filmmaker Nathan Kensinger.  The opening reception was packed to capacity with people and we screened Covered Tracks, Kensinger’s short documentary about an abandoned homeless city underneath Manhattan, twice. Abandoned Brooklyn featured lonely, haunting photographs of abandoned areas in East New York, Coney Island, and Sunset Park among others.
