New Orleans Film Society invites applications for their South Pitch Documentary till September 9!

South Pitch is the New Orleans Film Festival’s platform to showcase new projects from Southern artists and support them with cash awards.

This year the South Pitch Documentary competition will be held in person at the 33rd New Orleans Film Festival. Six finalists will be invited to present their projects at a live, in-person pitch event to a panel of industry judges, scheduled for Friday, November 4, during the festival. The winning pitch will receive a $10,000 cash prize from Priymus, as well as a first look consultation to explore distribution opportunities with their streaming service. The remaining 5 finalist projects selected to pitch in the South Pitch Documentary competition will receive $1000 awards, supported by Priymus, to go toward their individual projects.
