Amy Grumbling

Associate Programmer

Amy Grumbling is a freelance producer and editor. She is the co-producer of the feature documentary “Heaven + Earth + Joe Davis,” a portrait of a peg-legged philosopher who encodes poetry into DNA and builds sculpture to save the world. She’s currently producing and co-directing a documentary about the experiences of two photojournalists who were assigned to Ground Zero on 9/11/01 and has recently travelled to Haiti shooting and editing a documentary about post-catastrophe reconstruction. She has worked on numerous documentary, industrial and and commercial projects including many at Serious Motion Pictures and Corra Films Inc., where she has worked as was Staff Production Manager. In the summer, Amy volunteers at 826NYC, helping students write and shoot short films.
