Bruno Gularte Barreto

Bruno is a queer Brazilian researcher, filmmaker, and visual artist whose work operates at the intersection of cinema, photography, and video art. His practice investigates the porous boundaries between documentary and autofiction, using intimate archives, personal narratives, and lived experience as starting points to engage with broader social, historical, and political questions. Through long-term projects, his works examine how private memory can become a site for collective reflection.
