Caitlin Boyle is founder and president of Film Sprout, a consulting and booking agency that broadens the audience and social impact of documentaries through public screening events. The architect of national community screening tours for dozens of independent documentaries and their makers, including the award-winning documentaries King Corn, The End of the Line, Pray the Devil Back to Hell, and A Small Act, Caitlin’s workshops and presentations on grassroots film distribution have rallied enterprising, do-gooder filmmakers at SXSW, Hot Docs, IFP, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Los Angeles Film Festival, and The New York Foundation for the Arts. Bringing films beyond the traditional cinema and into grassroots institutions, Film Sprout helps filmmakers secure revenue, swell viewership and spark social change–all at once.
