Francisco Miguez

Francisco Miguez is a filmmaker from São Paulo. Na Passagem do Trópico (2025), is his first feature film. Uma Ilha é Uma Ilha (2026), is his new short movie, and both of them are set on the coast side of São Paulo. Also, he directed the shorts Uma Invenção sem Futuro (2021) and Ronda (2019, with Mauricio Battistuci), and the dance films Dobras (2018, with Pedro Nishi) and Todos os Pontos da Curva (2019). He published in Revista Cinética (2018 – 2022) and was resident at RAW: Arché-Work, in 2021.
