Jordana Rubenstein-Edberg
Jordana Rubenstein-Edberg is a documentary filmmaker and community-engaged artist; she collaborates with activists and policymakers to share narratives that challenge dominant histories and imagine equitable futures. Jordana holds a degree in Human Rights Journalism from Bard College and an MFA in Social Practice from the Corcoran School of Art. With a background in non-profit organizations, her visual work has been featured at venues like Art Basel and the Corcoran Gallery. Through her documentary production company, Understory Docs, she shares stories as tools of resilience. Her latest project, DC’s Heartbeat, explores the impacts of gentrification on DC’s arts community.
