Juliana Borges

Juliana Borges is a Brazilian independent filmmaker dedicated on documentary projects with social impact. She has a degree on journalism at University of São Paulo. Juliana co-directed Open Arms, Closed Doors (26’,2013) to Al Jazeera; Triangle (75’, 2013), a coproduction between Brazil, Angola and Portugal; and Luanda Emotional Geographies (52’), shot in Angola. She was one of the directors of BR 14, a 32-documentary series about immigration in Brazil, broadcasted at TV Brasil and Sun Chanel.
