Lana C. Marilyn

Event Manager

Lana is a Brooklyn native of Afro-Caribbean descent. Over the last few years her background in storytelling has broadened from a literary focus to include community engagement and event production around documentary and immersive media. Lana is a 2019 grantee of the Brooklyn Arts Council and Citizens Committee for New York City on behalf of The Lit Exhibit, an independent literary program which she hosts annually. She is interested in language, interactivity, and art as a means of play and archiving / preservation. In addition to her role as Event Manager, she is also a Production Coordinator at Doc Society.
