Tirsa Delate

Story Team Intern

Tirsa Delate was born and raised in Greenwich Village and graduated with a BA from Bryn Mawr College where she studied photography and film studies. Combining photography and video, Delate uses self portraiture as a lens to explore the tenuous yet anchored connection she has to her surroundings, balancing representation of self in home and in nature.
Delate hopes to pursue her MFA degree at UCLA in the fall and is currently enjoying her internship at UnionDocs. She can be found eating Ethiopian food, traveling, and taking polaroids.
