Varun Chopra

Varun is a filmmaker based between the US & Canada. He is a former Sundance Ignite fellow, Film Independent Screenwriting Lab and AWC Asian American artist fellow. His recent film “Holy Cowboys” won the Grand Jury Prize at DOC NYC. It played at festivals like Rotterdam, Palm Springs, Melbourne, Clermont Ferrand and was part of DOC NYC shortlist and IDA shortlist as an Oscar contender, the only qualified doc short from India. His films have been featured on PBS, Nowness, Vimeo Staff picks etc.
