Announcing the 2011 Northside DIY Film Competition

Buy We’re excited to be partnering with The L Magazine for the 2011 Northside Festival which will be held June 16-19. This year there’s a new category for entry, the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Film Competition! With this year’s DIY competition, we hope to bring developing short and feature filmmakers together under one roof. The finalists’ works will be screened at UnionDocs before a jury of DIY pioneers, Brooklyn celebrities and established directors. Prizes include cash, an exclusive Northside Rooftop Screening, and camera rental packages.
