Doc Circuit Montréal is launching two new exciting call for projects this fall!
Doc Circuit Montréal presents the first edition of its Talent Lab, a creative and professional development initiative that will offer specialized conferences and exploratory workshops as well as a mentorship program for independent Canadian talent. The Talent Lab hopes to promote independent creation and encourage a landscape that supports documentary art while giving emerging filmmakers the tools and knowledge they need to better market and distribute their films. The call for participants is pan-Canadian.

Doc Circuit Montréal is also collaborating with EURODOC to let a producer from Quebec to enter their training program in 2015.
Five finalists will be selected to participate in a live pitch session during Doc Circuit Montreal’s 10th Pills Order edition, on November 19. The pitch will be before an audience of DCM delegates and a panel of EURODOC representatives. The producer will be awarded participation in three-one week training sessions taking place in three separate countries. Each module (each in a different month) will cover a different aspect of the project: Development, Packaging, co-production & financing, Meeting the Commissioning Editors.
Order A $4,000 grant will be awarded defraying an important part of the costs associated with the registration and travel for the program.
