On October 11th, DCTV’s landmark firehouse will be transformed for a momentous evening honoring their illustrious history and promising future. Indie and documentary filmmakers, the industry’s leaders and visionaries, and everyone who believes in the power of independent film is invited for this historic night of live performance, awards, food, drink, dancing and more!

As part of the festivities, DCTV is inaugurating its first award ceremony, honoring Shelia Nevins and the HBO Documentary Films Team, and peace activist and DCTV Board Chair, Cora Weiss. James Gandolfini will be the Honorary Chair of a Host Committee full of incredible filmmakers including Albert Maysles, Barbara Kopple, and Sam Pollard.

With an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, live music, and incredible company, it’s sure to be a night to remember, and will all be supporting a great organization.
