Clare Wiley is a journalist and audio producer based in Los Angeles. She covers social issues and culture, with reporting in The Guardian, Vice, Cosmopolitan, Al Jazeera, PRX, WHYY and others. She produces and hosts The Reinventors, a podcast telling stories of radical career change. Clare trained with Transom, is an AIR member, and writes The Audio Storyteller newsletter for audio producers.
Clare was born and raised in Northern Ireland, before living in Texas, Luxembourg, the UK and now California. In 2017 she spent a year working and living in 12 cities in 12 months (Lima and Kyoto were the highlights). She’s happiest when cycling, exploring a music festival or absorbed in a podcast.
