MNFF Announces Creative Distribution Mentorship for First-Time Feature Directors and Producers, apply by June 30!

Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival announces the creation of an inaugural mentorship program: the MNFF Creative Distribution Mentorship!

Built around a 12-week calendar launching in October 2025 and continuing through January 2026, the program will pair each mentee with a veteran filmmaker and offer bi-weekly opportunities for learning, professional development and authentic engagement with experts in the field of distribution.

Applicants must be in the final stages of post-production on a feature documentary or narrative film and ready to actively explore and implement their film’s distribution, exhibition, audience engagement and/or social impact activities.
