Kristen Zipperer

Kristen is an anthropologist and filmmaker who works in South Asia. She is currently a PhD candidate at Harvard University, where she is writing a dissertation on democratic transition and nostalgia for the monarchy in Nepal from the perspective of the country’s southern borderland. She also studies documentary film and critical media practice in association with Harvard’s Film Studies Center and Sensory Ethnography Lab.
