Priya Woods

Priya is a 28-year-old Indian-Scottish, first-time feature director from London. Still, life, the 7-minute short, won Best Short at DocsBarcelona 2024. In June 2025, she pitched a feature-length extension of this short at the Edinburgh Pitch and won £2,000. Priya is the founder of Take2, an all-female-identifying collective of creatives. She volunteers as the UK ambassador for the non-profit ShareDoc, and she is a full-time carer for her dad, who is the subject of her upcoming feature.
