Sarah Lawson

Resident Curator 2007-2008

Sarah studied film and media at the University of Virginia and co-founded The Bridge Film Series in Charlottesville, VA before moving to New York. While at UnionDocs, she also had a short n’ sweet career as a book designer but after a couple years in the city, she succumbed to the temptations of backwoods swimming holes and lazy afternoons on front porches. Since moving back to Virginia, she founded and currently runs a local storefront arts initiative – CommonPlace Arts – and helps manage the Charlottesville Mural Project as well as The Bridge Film Series. Sarah is also currently the Programs & Communications Director for Piedmont Council for the Arts.
