352 Onderdonk Avenue is a comfortable place to stay in one of NYC’s most exciting neighborhoods, Ridgewood, Queens.

Our building has a lot of shared resources and a lot of opportunities for fun while also having adequate privacy and a comfort (not always found in NYC communal living). There are three floors, a big second story terrace with plants tended by UnionDocs. The location is close to excellent transportation, a 20 minute subway ride to the center of Manhattan.
The first floor commercial space is occupied by the screening space where our public events take place. It also houses the UnionDocs office.

352 Onderdonk is managed by UnionDocs Center for Documentary which operates on the first floor of the building. UnionDocs presents, produces, publishes, and educates. We lead a diverse community on a search for urgent expressions of the human experience, practical perspectives on the world today, and compelling visions for the future.

The two floors above the main space house our residency which consists of 6 private bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a recently renovated kitchen and dining area, a meeting and work space, a living room with a tv and a guest suite for visiting artists. Both levels have wood floors throughout, lots of natural light. The common spaces and bedrooms are fully furnished. Bedrooms can be locked, but common spaces are shared by the six residents and guest artist. The common spaces are available for meetings, work sessions and screenings for the use of UnionDocs participants and staff. The building also has high-speed internet and a washer and dryer that can be used at no additional charge.

Rooms vary in dimension. Each room contains:
‘Full Size’ bed and mattress, Desk, Chair, Lamp, 2 Pillows, Waste bin, Closet or wardrobe with a set of hangers, Locking keypad for security, Bed Linens, Comforter and Towels.

Full fees to be paid by start date of the rental
Along with a $200 security deposit to be refunded after end of the rental period

The 2nd Floor has a daytime shared workspace, TV room, laundry, the programmatic kitchen and access to the outdoor terrace.

The 3rd Floor has a communal kitchen and dining area. Kitchen includes a large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffeemaker, toaster, blender and double sink. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, flatware, cooking utensils, pots and pans.

Located on the third floor of the building this private one bedroom apartment is complete with a kitchen, bathroom plus an open dining and living room area.

The one bedroom apartment is fully furnished, the bedroom also includes:
‘Full Size’ bed and mattress, dresser, Lamp, Pillows, Closet with a set of hangers, Bed Linens, Comforter and Towels.

Full fees to be paid by start date of the rental.
Along with a $300 security deposit to be refunded after end of the rental period.
